Terms of service
Last updated November 4, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Aryan Wadhera (“Doclet”, “we”) for using Doclet, including the website, the dashboard, the command line, and the hosting of your apps. By creating an account or using Doclet, you agree to them.
Your account
You must be at least 16 and able to form a binding contract. Give us accurate information and keep your password and access tokens secret. You are responsible for what happens under your account. We may need to approve new accounts before they can be used.
If you use Doclet for an organization, you confirm that you can accept these terms for it, and the organization is bound by them.
Plans and fees
Doclet has a free plan and paid plans, priced per member as shown on our pricing page. Members are the people who build and deploy apps. People you share an app with are viewers and are not charged. Plans come with usage limits for apps, requests, and bandwidth. If you reach a limit, visitors may see a notice until the limit resets or you change plan. We will give you notice before we change prices for a plan you are already paying for.
Your content
You own the code, data, and other content you put on Doclet. You give us permission to store, copy, and run it, and to show it to the people you share it with, only as needed to provide the service. You promise that you have the rights to do so, and that your content and apps follow these terms and the law.
What you may not do
- Break the law or infringe someone else’s rights.
- Host malware, phishing, or anything meant to deceive, harass, or harm people.
- Attack, probe, or overload Doclet or anyone else’s systems, or try to get around access controls or plan limits.
- Send spam or run bulk or unsolicited messaging.
- Mine cryptocurrency or run workloads that mainly exist to consume resources.
- Store payment card numbers, government identification numbers, or regulated health information. Doclet is not built for them.
- Resell the service or use it to build a competing hosting service.
Sharing and visitors
You decide who can open each app: only people you add, everyone in your workspace, or anyone with the link where your plan allows it. You are responsible for those choices and for what your apps do with visitors’ information. Removing someone ends their access. Public links are available on paid plans.
Availability
We work to keep Doclet running but do not promise it will always be available or error-free. Idle apps stop after a short time and start again on the next visit. We may change, add, or remove features, and we may carry out maintenance. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Suspension and ending
You can stop using Doclet and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms, put the service or others at risk, or do not pay what you owe, and we will try to tell you first when we reasonably can. When an account ends, we delete its apps and data as described in our privacy policy.
Our rights
Doclet, its name and logo, and its software belong to us. These terms do not give you any right to them except to use the service as described. If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.
Disclaimers
Doclet is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including that the service will meet your needs, be uninterrupted or secure, or be free of errors, and any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to Doclet is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and $100. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
Indemnity
You will defend and compensate us against claims, losses, and costs that come from your content, your apps, or your breach of these terms or the law.
Governing law and disputes
California law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and you and we consent to those courts. Before filing a claim, please email us so we can try to resolve it informally.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will update the date above and tell you by email or in the dashboard. Using Doclet after a change means you accept it.
